Guess What? Your Eyeshadow Can Double as a Highlighter - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Trouble: Your favorite highlighter is MIA, possibly due to your cat, despite defective opposable thumbs, hiding it somewhere in your condo.
You turn over every inch of the place looking for information technology, peering under every slice of furniture and checking each of your true cat'south favorite hiding places, only still can't observe it.
WHERE IS THAT DAMN PAN OF MAC SOFT AND GENTLE MINERALIZE Peel FINISH?!
Er…non that I've e'er experienced this. Nosotros're talking hypothetically, of course. 🙂
Solution: You reach for a shimmery peach, coral, beige or white eyeshadow instead.
Yup — that'southward correct. Considering your eyeshadow can double as a face highlighter!
Hither I'm using MAC's Extra Dimension Heart Shadow in Lorelei, a shimmery gold biscuit from the new MAC Attracting Aquatic collection.
After I'm done applying blush and bronzer, I swirl a clean finger in the pan, and gently rub it on my upper cheekbones…
…down the bridge of my nose (goofy face is totally optional!)…
…and on my Cupid'due south bow.
And that's it! Instant highlighting, all from a pan o' eyeshadow. 🙂
Generally, whenever I do this, I like to use colors that I would likewise use to spotlight my brow bone or the inner corners of my eyes, like good ol' MAC Shroom or Ricepaper.
Just really, whatever eye-brightening shimmery biscuit, gold, pink or bronze eyeshadow should work.
Give it a effort sometime, and let me know what yous retrieve.
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
P.S. Happy hump 24-hour interval, my friend. 🙂
